The startup ecosystem is obsessed with the beginning. Thousands of accelerators, incubators, and playbooks exist for launch and scale. We are over-resourced for the start, but seriously under-prepared for the finish.
9 out of 10 businesses end within their first 5 years. Messy closures can come at a devastating cost; lost jobs, lost capital and lost founders.
This doesn’t need to be the case. With support, preparation, care and attention founders can be supported to navigate endings with intention and integrity.
